'This Shining Night' - The Vaughan Williams Singers at St Nicolas

This will be a varied programme including coronation favourites Zadok the Priest and I Was Glad, plus two organ pieces by our very own Peter Lutton.

The Vaughan Williams Singers, founded in January 2018, is a mixed-voice chamber choir based in the Surrey hills. The choir sings a wide range of music, with a leaning towards 20th and 21st century unaccompanied works. Ian Assersohn, the conductor, lives in Bookham and the choir rehearses here, so there is a string local connection.

The Vaughan Williams Singers are named for the area's most illustrious musical resident.

Tickets are £10 each.
