Stone Nest, in association with Aurora Nova, presents
White Rabbit, Red Rabbit
By Nassim Soleimanpour
No rehearsals. No director. No set.
A different actor for each performance.
A script waiting in a sealed envelope on stage.
An actor about to perform something they've never seen.
Internationally acclaimed White Rabbit, Red Rabbit by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour, is an audacious theatrical experiment and a potent reminder of the transgressive and transformative power of theatre.
Nassim Soleimanpour was denied a passport in his native Iran because of his status as a conscientious objector. Unable to travel, he decided to write a play which could travel the world in his place.
Join Nigel Barrett (Shunt, Nigel&Louise) for a thrilling and mischievous journey into the unknown for everybody in the room.
Approx running time: 70 minutes (no interval)
Stone Nest
Stone Nest is a performance venue in the heart of London's West End, bringing exceptional and experimental art to a wide audience. Whilst the 'work in progress' of building restoration continues, we're delighted to collaborate with a range of artists to bring life to this iconic former Welsh chapel. A hidden gem nestled amidst the bright lights of theatreland, it offers a platform for bold, visionary artists and a space where audiences can encounter an eclectic programme of contemporary performance.
Stone Nest is an old building and as this performance takes place on the first floor, we are currently unfortunately unable to accommodate wheelchair users.
