Title: Learning from Long Covid

Facilitator: Dr Chris Sanders – GP Educator and Health Enhancement Programme Lead at Leicester Medical School

This 1-hour free webinar is open to everyone. A MS Teams link and joining instructions will be provided to delegates by email before the event.

About the session:

This lunchtime webinar will discuss what we can learn from Long Covid from those affected, and the importance of empathic healthcare in this domain. Although society has moved on from the pandemic, a significant proportion of the population continue to experience adverse effects from Covid-19. The importance of further research and treatment in this area will be emphasised in this webinar, as well as highlighting the experience of those with hidden disability as a result.

As a previous NHS clinical champion for Long Covid, Dr Chris Sanders has lived experience of the condition and has taught a range of audiences about the importance of diagnosis and recognition of the illness.

Booking deadline: 1 December 2026
