It's time for you to nurture the skills and knowledge for your calling

Invest in the calling and vision you have as a Christian Writer. Join us for: craft advice, marketing insights, encouragement, industry and network contacts, prayer, and focus for your ministry as a Christian Writer.

This year the conference will feature:

- Seminars on the A to Z of self-publishing, marketing and mastering social media, writing memoir and devotionals, harnessing AI, creating an audio book and working with an illustrator.

- Working with your local Christian bookshop. Helen Cockburn and Irene Humphry of Green Pastures Christian bookshop to talk to us about how you can engage with the Christian Bookshop near you.

- Pitch practice for the brave writer! 

- New author get together

- As ever we will have an author's bookstall available and prayer ministry will be offered by our friends at Kingdom Living Ministries. We will provide plenty of time for delegates to spend time with old friends and new acquaintances, and of course good food and refreshments.

- New this year - we will be giving delegates an opportunity to engage and share in creative prayer through some specially tailored prayer sessions on the Friday.

Once again, the conference will span Friday and Saturday, from 2pm on Friday 19th September through to 4.30pm on Saturday 20th. The breadth of what we have to offer in 2025 means that we will be running just a conference over these two days rather than a retreat and conference, and we are moving to a new location: Histon Baptist Church, which is in the north of Cambridge.

Based on our experience from 2024, and what we believe God is doing now we want to encourage every Christian writer to fulfil the gift that God has given them. 

- Also on Friday evening in harmony with the theme of our conference this year, we are hoping to host a very special service of blessing and commissioning, not just for writers but for Christians in all creative pursuits, we want to make ourselves available to God to receive what He is doing with his people in the creative arts and to receive His blessing in this area of ministry. Friday conference attendees will have place at this event but we will also open this occasion up to other creative people of faith: artists, performers, photographers, poets, musicians, and more, as well as people who help to bring all forms of art to us: producers, directors, AV engineers, web designers, anyone who is involved in a creative act. This event will be open to all who come to the conference and anyone else who wishes to join us.

If you buy a ticket that includes the Friday for this conference you'll automatically get a pass for the Friday evening creative commissioning service.

Ticket prices are: £80 for Saturday and £140 for Friday and Saturday. Friday will include dinner at the church in the evening and Saturday will include lunch. Refreshments will be available on both days.
