Over the Garden Wall: Story Feast at The Cookbook Shop

An Immersive Supper Club and Screening at The Cookbook Shop, Edinburgh

On Friday 30 October 2026, The Cookbook Shop on Leith Walk becomes Pottsfield for one night only. Join cookbook author and chef Jody Eddy of Story Feast Collective for a screening of the beloved autumn miniseries, served alongside three courses drawn from the world of the Unknown.

Guests arrive to a warm welcome cup and a generous spread of harvest boards, freshly churned butter, mason jars of pickles and hunks of tavern bread. Midway through the evening the room breaks for the tavern feast, served family style. Dessert follows, with potato candy, set pumpkin pudding and a make-your-own caramel apple to wrap and carry home. There will also be a raffle and harvest activities. 

Between the courses there is a hands-on activity, small gifts from Scottish makers to take away, and a room dressed in candlelight, lanterns and warmth. Gluten-free and vegan options are woven through every course as standard. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary throughout the evening. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite Pottsfield-inspired costume if you feel inspired to!
