Storytelling Arts of Indiana partners with violist and storyteller Amy Kniffen from The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra partner to present Spirit of the East!
The music and history of Asia is rich and colorful, developing first in isolation from the West and then in mutual impact with the establishment of the Silk Routes. This 60 minute string quartet program takes a look at musical selections from China, Japan and Korea.
Patrons will hear a live professional quartet, view culturally relevant images, and hear history regarding these Asian cultures and their connection to the West.
