Description
Booze & Blues at Stoughton Grange
After a hiatus, the legendary Booze & Blues festival is back, and it's bigger and better than ever before! Originally conceived by the team at The Cow & Plough, this beloved event has been resurrected as a full-fledged festival, complete with camping grounds for a truly immersive experience.
A Fusion of Blues Music and Craft Beer
Booze & Blues isn't just any festival – it's a celebration of two timeless classics: Blues music and great beer. Dedicated to embracing local brewers and showcasing their finest creations, this festival promises a symphony of soulful tunes and refreshing brews that will tantalise the senses.
A Lineup Like No Other
Get ready to groove to the sounds of 14 incredible artists, each handpicked to deliver an unforgettable musical experience. For fans of The Blues Brothers films, we've got a special treat in store: our beer bar, Bob's Country Bunker, is dedicated to them, ensuring a lively atmosphere reminiscent of the iconic movie scenes.
Among the stellar lineup is John Coghlan's Quo Reimagined, led by the legendary drummer of Status Quo fame. With a fresh take on classic 'Quo' compositions, John and his quartet breathe new life into beloved hits like "Pictures of Matchstick Men" and "Caroline," infusing them with a lighter, more lyrical touch that transcends genres.
We're also thrilled to welcome Aynsley Lister, a contemporary blues guitarist hailed as one of the best in the world. With a unique style that blends blues-based rock with sultry melodies and hard-rock riffage, Aynsley promises to deliver a performance that will leave you spellbound.
Embracing the Spirit of the Blues Brothers
Inspired by The Blues Brothers film, Booze & Blues festival embodies the lively, music-filled atmosphere that defines the iconic movie. Prepare to be transported to a world where the rhythm of the blues meets the fizz of a cold beer, creating an electric atmosphere that's impossible to resist.
Join us as we raise a glass to the timeless allure of blues music and the craft of brewing, and let the good times roll at the Booze & Blues festival!
