The Coddiwomplers Willow Weaving Workshop

Come and join Stuart and Emma, the Coddiwomplers, who are experienced willow weavers and teachers, for either a morning or afternoon of weaving.

Morning Session 9:30am - 12:30pm - baskets

We'll be using a range of traditional basketry techniques to create two small wooden based baskets. Participants will be able to vary shape, colour and patterns using different varieties of willow. Perfect for a small plant pot, or keeping the kitchen utensils tidy.

Afternoon Session - 1:30pm - 4:30pm - bird feeders

We'll be using a range of traditional basketry techniques, and corn dolly spiral weave, to create three different birdfeeders. Each project also uses different varieties of willow, to give variation in colour. Perfect for use in the garden as birdfeeders, but also great indoors with fairy lights in (the birds don't mind!).

Coffee/tea & cake provided.
