Come and join Lucy Hare for an afternoon of bookbinding, creating your own beautiful handmade blank writing journal. As well as a bespoke journal you will make three colourful pocket notebooks, and share a fun idea suitable for Christmas gifts.

With Lucy’s expert guidance you will learn folding and stitching techniques on three colourful A7 pocket notebooks. Your new-found skills will then be put to use on a beautiful A6 cork leather* blank writing journal. The choice of colours, inner papers and how your journal looks will be for you to decide, making each one totally unique.

We will end with a quirky make-at-home gift idea suitable for just about anyone on your Christmas present list.

The afternoon will include a hot drink, glass of fizz and a festive treat.

Lucy Hare is a coach and musician. She has been book binding for 15 years and loves creating notebooks and journals from many different materials. She has studied book binding at London City Lit and is a member of the Society of Book Binders. Lucy also runs the Quiet Mornings at Stow Hall Gardens.
