Drypoint Printmaking with Julia Timmins

Join Julia Timmins for a hands-on drypoint printmaking workshop and unleash your creativity, creating your own beautiful prints to take home.

Suitable for beginners as well as those looking to build on existing skills, this in-person workshop will guide you through the full drypoint process—from preparing your plate and experimenting with mark-making to create texture and tone, to developing your own design. You’ll work on an A5 plate and learn essential techniques such as soaking paper, inking your plate, and printing a small edition using an etching press. Set in a relaxed and creative environment, this workshop is a great opportunity to explore printmaking while connecting with fellow art enthusiasts. All materials and tools will be provided and drinks and light refreshments will be available, but please bring your own lunch and an apron to protect your clothes if you have one

This is a charity event, with all proceeds donated to St Peter’s Church, Worfield.
