This interactive session will give an overview of syringe pump use in palliative and end of life care settings, covering indications, safe setup, common medications, monitoring and troubleshooting. We will explore key safety principles, common challenges and best practice to support safe and effective patient care.

This half day course is suitable for Registered Nurses and doctors working in clinical settings.

The practicalities of setting up a BD Bodyguard syringe pump will be discussed with a chance to use these pumps in the session.
