Verification of Expected Adult Death

This half day face to face workshop is for Registered Nurses in all clinical settings who have management support to verify expected deaths in their place of work.  We will clarify what is meant by ‘expected death’ and the clinical signs. You will learn how to perform a clinical examination of the key body systems using simulation. We will also explore the legal requirements and current guidelines and discuss the role of the coroner. We will provide you with a competency assessment tool for your ongoing reflective practice.
