Stratford Theatre Company are pleased to present another great night of comedy at The Embankment in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon!
A great night of comedy is guaranteed!
Local comedian Ashley Frieze will be your MC for the evening - a high octane larger than life performer guaranteed to raise the big laughs who has been entertaining audiences across the UK for over 20 years.
Line up -
Roger Monkhouse - A highly original and quirky performer, Roger Monkhouse`s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit. Supremely confident, with audience banter down to an art form, Roger is happy to improvise freely but has no shortage of first class material in his armoury. A master of observational comedy with a routine that is universally and unfailingly hysterical. A sought after compere and headliner across the UK and internationally.
Duncan Hart - Duncan burst onto the UK comedy scene in the late ’90s at the tender age of 18. After a solid stint on the circuit, he stepped back from the mic to carve out a successful career behind the scenes in television, putting together shows for all the big broadcasters and working alongside comedy heavyweights like Dara Ó Briain, Russell Howard, James Acaster, and circuit legend Arthur Smith.
Now, after more than a decade away, Duncan’s back with renewed vigour and stories to tell. Energetic, sharp, and effortlessly likeable, he exploits his tragic-comic life for every painfully funny gag – blending punchy writing with off-the-cuff crowd work and just the right amount of chaos. With a commanding stage presence and a natural gift for banter, he’s once again being tipped as ‘one to watch’.
Alex Camp - Alex has been called “one of best musical acts currently on the UK comedy circuit” - a growing reputation earned by fusing a genuine skill for tight, lean joke writing with excellent original comedy songs. He mixes the hard-hitting punchlines and agile crowd interaction of a stand-up comic with the instrumentation and songwriting ability of a seasoned musician. After years playing in bands, Alex switched to musical comedy where he is now free to sing about rapping babies, 90s dads, the worst towns in the UK and whatever else he can pull from the depths of his mind.
