After opening remarks by the President of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Senior, Street Child’s side event during UNGA79 and Climate Week in New York will feature an incredible panel of women leaders driving change in global education and equality:

  • Yasmine Sherif, Executive Director, Education Cannot Wait
  • Honourable Gbeme Horace-Kollie, Liberia’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection
  • Louise James, Global Co-Lead, Accenture Development Partnerships
  • Molly Bruce, Vice-President, Corporate Responsibility, Liberty Global

Moderated by Street Child CEO & Founder Tom Dannatt, the panel will tackle how we can achieve universal primary education despite the challenges posed by climate change, poverty, and conflict. The panel will focus on solutions for the most vulnerable children, including street-connected children and those affected by emergencies, who face significant barriers to learning.

Together we will explore innovative solutions and partnerships aimed at reintegrating out-of-school children into education, ensuring that every child has access to quality learning, regardless of the challenges they face.

Spaces are limited so please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your place.
