This Spring Street Food Circus is pitching up in beautiful Candleston Woods on the Merthyr Mawr Estate for four long weekends — creating an open-air dining experience that feels a world away from everyday life.

Forest Feastival is an immersive street food gathering featuring some of the best traders and chefs from Wales and beyond, cooking a global feast beneath the canopy.

Walk the Glamorgan heritage coastline, climb the Big Dipper — Wales’ tallest sand dune — then follow the smell of woodsmoke back to the woods and feast.

More than just food

Forest Feastival is a big day out in nature that you don’t have to organise yourself.

Expect roaming circus performers, kids circus school, laid-back music, marshmallow fire pits and plenty of space to stretch out, explore and stay awhile.

Bring the whole tribe, friends, family, grandparents and the dog — this is a gathering, not a queue. Come for lunch, stay for the magic

After Dark - same forest, different vibe

As the sun drops, the woodland comes alive.

On Friday and Saturday nights the fires burn longer, the music deepens and the clearing takes on a grown-up festival feel — communal campfires, guest DJs and good food under the stars.

• No kids activity on evening sessions

• Friday adults only

How it works

Forest Feastival is limited in capacity sessions, each session works like a show with a beginning, middle and end, choose your session and enjoy, evening sessions are adult orientated *no kids activity and Friday nights are adults only 

Car Park 
As part of our traffic plan, there will be no exit from the car park during 2–3 PM and 5–6 PM.
