Worcestershire County Cricket Club will host Farewell Events, where all 80 penguins – large and small – will waddle together in this landmark location. Standing within the picturesque setting of the cricket ground, with the backdrop of the cathedral, this is the ultimate selfie opportunity!
Ticketed events - offering one-hour pre-booked timeslots - will also enable you to view our digital penguin installation and pick up official merchandise and raffle tickets.

Following the Farewell Event, the large Penguins, plus one special penguin chick, will be auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice, whilst the remaining chicks return to the schools and community groups who decorated them, as a lasting legacy to the waddle.
Proceeds from the farewell event will support St Richard’s Hospice, who care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. The hospice team also supports a patient’s loved ones.
