It's back! … Can you conquer the coals and help raise funds for St Richard's Hospice?
This Autumn, we are encouraging our supporters to face their fears and take part in our fire walk!
A fire walk is the most inspirational journey you will ever undertake. It is as the name suggests: a bare foot walk over red-hot wood embers measuring around 800 degrees. No tricks, no special effects. Just you and the fire.
Fear is at the centre of the experience, the fear you feel on the brink of a fire walk is incredible – all of your survival instincts are telling you to stay put. Once you take the power away from fear, there is really nothing stopping you. After all, if you can walk safely across hot coals what else is possible?
Join us at St Richard's Hospice on Saturday 11th October and take on this exhilarating challenge. Friends and family are encouraged to come along to watch and will be welcomed into the "The Green", the Hospice's restaurant area, where a delicious fiery menu will be available to all.
The registration fee for this event is £35 per person which includes the fire walk experience and an hour long session to prepare you for the walk. We ask participants to pledge to raise at least £75 towards our care and services.
