Event Description

Trevor Hall Readers' Weekend — Thursday November 5 to Monday November 9 2026

Five days. Four nights. One manor house. A weekend of books, food, music, and new friends in Llangollen, Wales, and Manchester, England.

We’re taking over Trevor Hall — a ten-bedroom Georgian mansion in Llangollen, North Wales — for an all-inclusive readers' weekend. We'll start in Manchester, England with a private evening at the Portico Library, and visit the Elizabeth Gaskell House. A private coach will drive us to Trevor Hall where we will settle into the manor for three nights of incredible meals, a book club, afternoon tea, tarot readings, and candlelight storytelling. The weekend includes a trip visit to Llangollen for a private visit to the historic Plas Newydd, and an evening at a Welsh pub with a live folk band.

Last year, our guests rated the weekend 9.92 out of 10. Every single person said it exceeded their expectations. We’ve made it even better this year.

Ticket Types

Please read this information carefully, so you can choose the correct ticket for you.

Solo — $2,950
One ticket. One person. At Trevor Hall, you’ll share a room with another Solo guest — think of it as a roommate for the weekend. You’ll each have your own bed. If you’d like to be paired with a specific person, just let us know. In Manchester, you’ll have your own private room.

Duo — $5,900
One ticket. Two people. For couples or any two people who are happy to share a king-size bed. A single Duo ticket covers both guests. At Trevor Hall and in Manchester, you'll share a room and a bed.

If Duo tickets are sold out: You can purchase two Solo tickets instead and let us know you’d like to share a room. We’ll put you together. One room — just two separate tickets.

Payment Plans

Don’t want to pay all at once? No problem.

Solo payment plan: $450 upfront, then $625/month for four months (April, May, June, July).

Duo payment plan: $900 upfront, then $1,250/month for four months (April, May, June, July).

Your spot is secured with your first payment.

A Few Things to Know

Weather. This is North Wales in November. It will rain. It might be cold. We think that’s part of the charm — a manor house, a fire, rain on the windows. But if you need guaranteed sunshine, this isn’t your trip.

Bathrooms. Trevor Hall is a historic house. You will share a bathroom with other guests. We’ll do our best to make the arrangements comfortable.

Illness policy. If you’re sick with anything contagious on travel day, we need you to stay home. This is a close-quarters gathering with shared meals and shared spaces, and everyone’s health and comfort come first.

Refunds and transfers. Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. If you can’t make it, you can pass your ticket to someone else — and we’ll do our best to help you find a taker.
