A family talk about the skies above Gloucestershire including a showcase of stars, nebula and galaxies above Stroud.
Astroheart is a family of astronomers based in Thrupp and Gloucester:
Graeme 51, Amanda 49, Sam 15 and Millie age 10.
Astronomy is the oldest of the natural sciences.
It is powerfully associated with philosophical, religious, spiritual, cosmological and astrological beliefs.
Milllions of years ago our ancestors lived in synchrony with nature. They observed the planets and the stars. They made objects and maps of their positions and studied the life cycles of each planet in relationship to life cycles of plants.
The talk will touch on some of these subjects and there will be a chance to ask questions at the end.
