Alegria Ensemble "Three Centuries of Piano Trios"

We are delighted to welcome Alegria, who join us to play "Three Centuries of Piano Trios", featuring pieces from Brahms, Haydn and Joel Mandelbaum - a living American composer with whome the trio have a personal friendship.  Guaranteed to be new and exciting!   Chloe Dickens (violin), Ricky Moreira (piano) and Sara Juneau (cello) take such joy in the music they play that this is certain to an evening of delight.  A wonderful way to begin the Autumn season.

We are especially pleased that Alegria are offering children's workshops during the morning on Friday, introducing "The Carnival of the Animals" and the instruments.  These workshops are interactive and fun, and a great way to begin a journey in classical music for all ages.  Targeted at 7 - 11 year olds, younger children and adults will gain much from the experience.  The workshops will be free for children to attend (accompanying adults £5 each) but need to be pre-booked - email reverendjesslancaster@gmail.com to book.  Payment is on the door.  All children taking part in the workshop will also receive a free concert ticket for the evening performance.
