Celebrating Sussex: an open exhibition

The Student Engagement and Enhancement team warmly invites you to an open exhibition celebrating curated student work that showcases the diverse voices, lived experiences and creative contributions of our vibrant University of Sussex community.

Alongside the exhibition, join us for a relaxed celebratory ice cream picnic and open conversation between students, staff and members of our wider community.

You’ll also have the chance to discover more about the work of the Student Engagement and Enhancement team and how we support and amplify the student experience at Sussex.

Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm.

Accessibility

We are committed to making this event as accessible and welcoming as possible to all guests. 

• For parking and travel information please visit ACCA's Accessibility page.
• Most event activities take place on the ground floor, which has step‑free access and wide double doorways. A lift provides step‑free access to the café.
• The venue has two accessible toilets, with push pad access, on the ground floor.
• Hearing enhancement: the venue has a Sennheiser infra-red system which pairs with hearing aids and headsets.
• Audio recordings will be provided of all written pieces. There will not be audio descriptions of visual elements, but we will try to arrange individual support where possible.
• A quieter access tour will be available just before the event opens to all guests, led by a trained sighted guide. Please select the access tour ticket when booking.
