Ideal beginner’s introduction to Upholstery

A relaxed and creative introduction to upholstery. You’ll learn key techniques including webbing a frame, building foam layers, and finishing your stool in your chosen fabric — with the option to add classic deep buttoning if you fancy it.

By the end of the day, you’ll take home a beautiful, hand-crafted stool (approx. 50 × 60 cm) made entirely by you.

What should I bring? Just 1 meter of your finishing fabric — we’ll provide everything else, including the stool frame & legs, tools, and foams etc. If you need help in choosing your fabric, just get in touch. You’re welcome to bring your own, browse our in-studio stash, or order through us — we can often offer trade discounts from our suppliers.
