I was first made aware of the extraordinary talents of Polish jazz singer Grazyna Auguscik years ago when she was performing brilliant duets in Portuguese (a language she does not speak!) with Brazilian jazz master Paulinho Garcia. She subsequently worked with our friend, pianist Ben Lewis, on a gorgeous collection of jazz vocal interpretations of Chopin pieces. Maybe you are getting the idea. This ultra-talented woman does not shy away from artistic challenges. On the contrary, she seeks out and embraces them. She is soulful and fearless, and never fails to deliver something beautifully thought provoking. Grazyna has just released a new CD, 2 The Light and will be celebrating its release on our stage with an absolutely stellar group. I am honored. I have heard clips of the music in the promo video above ... but intentionally have not heard any more than that. I look forward to taking this all in for the very first time with you all. –SR
