Almost exactly a year ago I took the Studio5 stage to perform an evening of my own music, and I must say ... it felt so good that I'm taking another turn. I've spent my career composing for film, television, dance, theater, and my own releases, and I'm eager to share new work with you all again in an evening of songs and stories. And just look at the list of musicians above. Honestly, some of my favorite artists on the planet! I am one lucky guy to share the stage with this extraordinary, unique group. So many beautiful instrumental colors!

You will certainly recognize many of these names from their previous performances at Studio5, but at least one of them is new to our audiences. My dear pal, TC Furlong is an absolutely LEGENDARY pedal steel guitar player – really kind of mind blowing – and the thought that he will be on our stage performing with this already stacked ensemble gives me all kinds of butterflies in the best possible way. It's really difficult for me to describe how excited I am. I've been working hard the past few months with my brilliant buddy Paul Von Mertens (Brian Wilson's music director for decades) to develop new arrangements and some brand new pieces for this performance.

The evening will include a beautiful contemporary dance choreographed by my wife, Béa, performed by the stunning Shelby Moran Amarantos. We will also feature some film work created for one of my pieces by my talented son, Daniel. So it's going to be a multi-disciplinary feast and I'm so eager to share it. You know, this feels like a great time to make art, to celebrate beauty wherever we find it, and, regardless if the odds at times feel stacked against us, to move forward with joy. Let's go.
