Horn-based fusion powerhouse in a program titled #NEWNEW / #YOUYOU

New Nostalgia made their Studio5 debut last year, and it was one of those occasions where IMMEDIATELY people were asking me when they were going to return. We're excited to welcome them back, following the recent release of their new album, New Nostalgia. This is a nine-piece (five horns + four rhythm) high-octane horn-based group that defies category. Jazz? Rock? Pop? I guess "fusion" comes closest, but who cares? Blending innovative arrangements of well known songs with their own original compositions, New Nostalgia takes us on a wild ride through their unique sonic world. So strap in – it's going to be so much fun to hear this muscular group live again on our stage. 

And to make this appearance even more exciting they have designed a program which will feature a set of all new, never-before-heard tunes fresh from their current tour – aka #NEWNEW – with a second set consisting of New Nostalgia songs by request – aka #YOUYOU. They will be featuring their arrangements of songs recently submitted to them by our audience.
