DDD x Mackart Foundation: Studio Visits

This fall, DDD visits the Mack Art Foundation in Greenpoint for an afternoon of studio visits, artist talks, and wine, offering an intimate look inside the practices of artists finishing their Fall residency at the Foundation.

About DDD

DDD is a community built around experiencing contemporary art differently. Through drawing salons, artist studio visits, private collections, galleries, and residencies, DDD brings together a growing network of art-curious and young collectors.

Our studio visits are an opportunity to encounter art where it is being made—to step inside artists' working spaces, hear directly about their practices and works in progress, and engage in conversation outside the traditional gallery setting.

About Mack Art Foundation

The Mack Art Foundation is an artist-focused foundation and residency program based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The Foundation provides artists who are not based in New York with dedicated studio space in Greenpoint so they can be immersed in the New York art scene, one of the most vibrant in the world. 

For this DDD visit, guests will visit the residents ending their residency at the foundation for the Fall. 

Participating artists will be announced on the DDD website prior to the event.

The Afternoon

4:00–4:30 PM — Welcome & Wine
Arrive at the Foundation, grab a glass of wine, meet the DDD community, and get introduced to the space.

4:30–5:30 PM — Studio Visits & Artist Talks
We'll move through a selection of artists' studios, meeting each artist and hearing directly from them about their practice, current work, and ideas. Guests will have the opportunity to see works in progress and ask questions along the way.

5:30–6:00 PM — Wine & Conversation
We'll close the afternoon over wine, with time to continue conversations with fellow guests and reflect on the artists and work we've encountered.

Unlimited wine is included throughout the event.
