Watercolour in the Park @ Pure In The Park

Watercolour in the Park

Take a creative pause and enjoy a calm morning of watercolour painting at Pure in the Park, in the beautiful surroundings of Gunnersbury Park.

This relaxed, beginner-friendly session is all about slowing down, exploring watercolour and painting something you love. No previous experience is needed — just bring yourself and enjoy a couple of peaceful, creative hours.

We’ll begin with a few simple watercolour techniques to help you warm up and feel confident with your brush. You’ll then have plenty of time to create your own painting, with support and guidance available throughout the session.

You can choose whatever you’d like to paint — flowers, plants, landscapes or something completely personal to you. Inspiration and prompts will also be available if you’re not sure where to begin.

I’d recommend having a little think beforehand about what you might like to paint. You’re also very welcome to take a stroll through Gunnersbury Park before the session and photograph any flowers, plants, trees or views that catch your eye, then use one of your photos as inspiration for your painting.

🎨 All art materials provided for use during the session
🕒 2 hours of watercolour and creative time
🖌️ Support and guidance while you work on your own piece
📄 A printed handout with watercolour techniques, colour theory and colour recipes to take home
📸 A beautiful, thoughtfully styled setup with plenty of lovely photo moments

This time, we’ll be getting cosy inside Pure in the Park café. Think watercolours, warm drinks, good company and a couple of peaceful hours to slow down.

The café will be serving drinks and food throughout the morning, perfect to enjoy while you paint. Kindly note that the session is not BYO, and I’d love for you to support the café by ordering something during the session 💛
