Schedule:
Day 1
We learn basic philosophical approaches from Yukimura Haruki's bondage style. To do this, we analyze terms such as Semenawa and Aibunawa, learn the first basics of Yukimura Ryū and experience their application.
We will give space to the introduction of a special mindset as well as possible approaches and behaviors in dealing with the partners.
Day 2
We use i.a. the patterns and procedures developed on the first day in order to use more complex "techniques". The main focus is on the generation of emotions in "how" we implement the bondage.
Requirements:
- This workshop is aimed at bondage couples who want to explore the world of Yukimura Ryū together. Since this is ultimately a world of eroticism, there should be no fear of intimacy between the bondage partners.
- The workshop can be visited by beginners to advanced participants.
- It makes sense for the model to wear clothing with "potential for exposure" (e.g. dress, no leggings, no tights).
- Max. 7 ropes are required - recommended rope: 6mm or less
- Bring your own sheets.
About Michael Ropeknight:
Michael Ropeknight ties with rope since his teens and has later on been able to experience different styles of Shibari on various journeys to Japan. He studied with several well-known japanese and western Bakushi before becoming an official student of Osada Steve in 2012. Osada Steve was also the one who introduced him early on to Yukimura Haruki Sensei as he felt their way of communication is quite similar.
As an official instructor in both styles Ropeknight combines the schools of Yukimura-Ryu and Osada-Ryu in an undogmatic way. The key elements of his style are intention and empathy as well as his use of energetic components (Ki). By approaching his model in a creative and powerful, yet calm and deeply emotional way, Michael gives these styles an independent touch.
As the owner of the Fourelements Kinbaku Lounge, he regularly organizes events for beginner to advanced level since 2014 and is travelling to teach in workshops and private lessons.
