Join us as we celebrate TWO incredible years at Studio Yukari, two years of memories, two years of rope marks...

For this unique occasion, we're thrilled to have two international guests: 

• Akane (Japan), a renowned Kinbaku model who has collaborated with legendary Kinbaku-shis such as Naka Akira and Yukimura Haruki, and has been featured in Sugiura Norio’s photography.
• Nuitdetokyo (France/Japan), a licensed instructor of Yukimura style under the name Haru Kakeru

As part of this celebration, we have a fantastic lineup of events:

History of Kinbaku with Nuitdetokyo

Saturday 7 June 2025 I 1200-1800 (Doors open at 1130, close at 1200 sharp)

We are honoured to have invited Nuitdetokyo to present a one-day workshop on the cultural history of Kinbaku. This workshop will consist of presentations by Nuitdetokyo and practice sessions. It will be conducted in English with Japanese terminology. 

Program is as follows:

1. The long history of cultural eroticism in Japan, the banquet culture
2. The influence of Chinese thought, management by rule, difference between “seme” and “torture”
3. Police rope, torinawa, hayanawa, honnawa, hojojutsu [PRACTICE]
4. Social shame and punishment, the first representations
5. The difference between seme and capture
6. The origin of Itoh Seiu fetishes
7. Appearance, onnagata and cosplay
8. Kinbaku as capture , fast entry rope, rope as poetry or theater, Minomura [PRACTICE]
9. Kinbaku as seme, slow entry rope, rope as craft, Tsujimura [PRACTICE]
10. Modern times after Minomura , Nureki, Yukimura [PRACTICE]
11. Modern time after Tsujimura, Akechi [PRACTICE]
12. Conclusion, rope now

Who can join?

This workshop is open to everyone - from beginners to advanced students. It is not style-dependent and the aim is to provide insights irrespective of your choice of rope style.

You are welcome to attend solo or with a partner. You will have the opportunity to tie with your partner in the practice sessions. This being said, there is absolutely no obligation to participate in any of the applications.

Two shows in celebration of Studio Yukari's 2-year anniversary.

Two intimate sessions revealing legendary Kinbaku model Akane's beauty, eros and passion. 

Two people from two styles seeking one common goal - to tie the heart of the other person.

The Essence of Yukimura Style 

Monday 9 June 2025 l 1900-2200 (Doors open at 1830, close at 1900 sharp)

We are honoured to have invited Nuitdetokyo and Akane to teach an evening class on Yukimura Haruki’s style of rope. Nuitdetokyo is a licensed instructor in Yukimura style, while Akane has worked closely with Yukimura Haruki before his passing and now continues to model for his official students.

Topics covered in this evening class include:

1. Model imagination, model control, model resistance (special session for the models, tricks of the trade)
2. Rope as communication, reading the model
3. Talking to the model, kotoba zeme
4. Looking at the model, shame and exposure
5. Getting it all together: story telling with rope.

Who can join?

• Partnered (*students are welcome to come with more than 1 model)
• All levels

What do I need to bring?

• Jute ropes (ideally 4-5mm but not mandatory)

About Nuitdetokyo

Nuitdetokyo spent a number of years in Tokyo, where he is a licensed instructor for the Yukimura Haruki Ryū of shibari under the name Haru Kakeru. He has also taken lessons for several years with Akechi Kanna and Osada Steve, but for the sake of clarity, he does not formally belong to their respective styles. Additionally, he has taken isolated lessons with Nureki Chimuo, Oda Hisashi, Nawashi Monko, Randa Mai, Miura Takumi, Arisue Go, Shima Shikō, Saikatsu, Hige, Masato Marai, Haru to Kyō, and several others. He sometimes interprets into English or French for professional bakushi, including recently for Naka Akira, Kazami Ranki, Yagami Ren, and Tenma Haru.

About Akane

Since 2016, Akane has been working as a professional Kinbaku model and AV actress in Japan. She has collaborated with Yukimura Haruki, Naka Akira and Sugiura Norio over the years.
