The Unbinding – Farewell to Studio Yukari

From 1 November 2025, Studio Yukari will cease operation. The physical space will be continued by Ma Collective under the name of Studio Ma. Before we transition, we invite you to join us for “The Unbinding”, a special day-long farewell gathering to honour everything Studio Yukari has nurtured over the years — creativity, connection, growth, and community.

This event is both a goodbye and a celebration. It will feature three live rope sessions from students of the studio, a speech from Naoko and the Studio Yukari team, and conclude with an Intimate Rope Salon — our final salon in the space, designed for quiet connection and deep presence.

We invite you to commemorate this ending, to celebrate what we’ve built together, and to gently release Studio Yukari with the same care and intention with which it was created.

Our final Rope Salon will be a quiet, intentional space to share presence and connection. To maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask participants to follow these guidelines:

• Tatami room split: one half for tying, one half for quiet watching
• Max 4 tying couples at a time
• The floor is reserved for intimate sessions only (no labbing or practice)
• Feel free to bring food and drinks (please be tidy)
• Alcohol is allowed in moderation — no tying under the influence

We offer a tiered pricing model to support accessibility while sustaining our community:

• Solidarity Ticket: £20
• Regular Ticket: £30
• Supporter Ticket: £40
