Description
St Werburghs Community Centre invites to you share a feast with us!
We would like to celebrate all things green and bring the community together to look at how we can make a positive difference to climate issues.
Our Green Feast event will take place on Friday 3rd March from 3.30 to 8pm and we would love you to get involved. The Vegan menu will be designed and cooked by the very talented chef, Ella Wysocki, whom you may recognise from our Neck of The Woods Cafe.
The aim is to enable the community to come together:
- to share knowledge and small steps everyone can take to tackle climate change, focusing on low carbon food, peer learning in a fun, engaging way where no one is an expert and everyone is welcomed.
- to offer activities for all ages making climate action playful and stepping away from anxiety inducing seriousness.
- to start on investigating our neighbourhood’s 'walkability' which impacts transport modes and choices.
