Are you ready for our 5^th Anniversary Winter Weekender Event!

We cant believe we are 5 years in already  - We are so happy and grateful for all of the support you have given us over the years and this event is not only a celebration of our time spent providing Bachata to you wonderful people - but it is also a recognition to all of you that have chosen to trust us and grow with us over that time.

So, to say thank you we are back again with some of the MOST exciting international artists, TOP UK teachers and DJs.

ℹ️ Pass Options & Information ℹ️

We have two learning pathways available to best suit multiple abilities. Why have we done this? Because we want you to have the best learning experience possible. The two pathways we have built are Bachata Evolution & Bachata Essentials. In both options the learning will be tailored to match your ability, for you to have the best opportunity to absorb, retain and apply the skills taught in each of your workshops.

Please read the below information carefully and choose the option that best suits your experience and your ability.

Note: We trust you to choose the correct level for yourself - Remember there is no ego in progress

🌟Pathway A - Bachata Evolution🌟

Bachata Evolution Information:
At the Bachata Evolution level, you will be required to have sound Foundational Bachata and Bachata Sensual technique, as we will move beyond the idea of memorised patterns and combos. This level is about challenging your ability to Connect, to Control your Steps, to your Control Body Movement and also to challenged the Technical Fluency – that can be applied to both individual and Partnerwork dynamics. This level is aimed at those who have a solid and complete competency in the foundations of Bachata, whilst confidently and appropriately using Bachata Sensual techniques. If you consider yourself a Level 3 OR an Intermediate dancer or above – this is the level for you.

What you need to have:

• Strong Bachata Basic: Confident command of basic steps, with variations and timing
• Body Movement: Comfortable execution of isolations of the hips, chest, shoulders and head to allow for smooth movement
• Frame & Posture: To be able to hold and maintain a stable and supportive posture consistently
• Musicality: Have the ability to find and interpret musical accents and breaks (being able to adjust the texture of your dance to support energy changes within the music is a bonus)
• Partnerwork Technique: Be able to communicate and respond clearly with your follower/leader, using both direct and indirect leading techniques
• Safety & Respect: Confidently and consistently use controlled movements and avoid using “force” when dancing

Bachata Evolution Full Pass:
(This pass will be limited to 30 Leaders and 30 Followers to support the quality of the workshops)

This pass allows access to:
- ALL Saturday Bachata Evolution Workshops (5hrs)
- Pre Party Class (1hr - Sat)
- Celebration Social (Sat)
- ALL Sunday Bachata Evolution Workshops & Masterclass (4hrs)

🌟Pathway B - Bachata Essentials🌟

Bachata Essentials Information:
This pass, does what it says on the tin. It is designed for people who have been dancing and practising Bachata and/or Bachata Sensual consistently between 6 months - 1 year. This pass offers key essential concepts, elements and moves to build confidence and foundational technique, whilst developing the skills of both leading and following. If you currently dance at Improver OR Improver+ Level, this pass is for you.

What you will cover:

• Frame & Posture: Be able to use adequate frame and be able to adjust your frame as necessary
• Bachata Basic: Build confidence in your basic step with easy to execute variations
• Leading & Following: Develop your understanding of essential cues to help you lead or follow clearly
• Essential Moves: Build your Bachata toolbox, and understand how your cues impact your moves
• Creativity: Work on common moves variations and add dynamic control with basic musicality to support your dance
• Social Dance Skills: Everything you will learn here is geared towards building your skills so that you feel social dance ready

Bachata Essentials Full Pass:
(This pass will be limited to 30 Leaders and 30 Followers to support the quality of the workshops)

This pass allows access to:
- ALL Saturday Bachata Essentials Workshops (5hrs)
- Pre Party Class (1hr - Sat)
- Celebration Social (Sat)

Alea Casino sits right in the heart of Nottingham, so however you're travelling, you're never far away.

By Train:
Nottingham Railway Station is roughly a 15-minute walk from the venue. Prefer not to walk? Hop on the tram from the station up to the city centre, or grab a short taxi — you'll be at our door in minutes.

By Bus & Coach:
Victoria Bus Station is the closest, around an 8–10 minute walk
Broadmarsh Bus Station is around a 12-minute walk, and is also where National Express and Flixbus coaches arrive if you're travelling in from further afield.

By Car:
See our Parking section below — free underground parking is available at the venue (access on Wollaton Street). Just remember to register your license plate at the cashier's desk to avoid charges.
