This course builds on the knowledge gained in Level One.

The aim of this course is to arm participants with information from reliable sources,  in order that they can become community advocates for the hedgehogs. Which they can, with the help and guidance of Suffolk Prickles use to enthuse members of the public to take positive action to help hedgehogs in their own communities.

The day course looks at:

  • Hedgehog Adaptation through History
  • Population estimates
  • Hazards for hedgehogs
  • What effects the behaviour of a hedgehog
  • Hibernation
  • Campaigning to improve connectivity in rural and urban areas
  • Different hedgehog temperaments
  • Things that effect their natural behaviour
  • Releasing
  • Advocating for hedgehogs

Cost: £60

Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided. Please provide your own lunch.
