The word Bayyān (بيان) in Arabic carries meanings of clarity, eloquence, and the art of expression. It is not just about speaking, but about speaking truthfully, with depth, and with presence. In the context of The Sukoon Men’s Circle, Bayyān reflects the importance of creating a space where men can find their voice, articulate their experiences, and be heard with respect and understanding.

This Brotherhood is a circle for men who are seeking authentic connection, grounded strength, and meaningful dialogue. It is a space to step away from the noise of the outside world and enter into presence, honesty, and brotherhood. Here, clarity is not only about words, but about living with integrity, expressing with courage, and listening with compassion.

Explore what it means to have calm, safety, and reflection in your life as a man

Sukoon means peace and stillness, and Bayyān adds the dimension of expression and voice. Together, they create a balanced space: one of inner quiet and outer clarity — where men can grow in themselves while supporting one another.

Our Invitation to You
This brotherhood is for the man who wants to show up fully — for himself, for his family, for his community. It is for the man who recognises that strength comes not from silence, but from sharing, learning, and being truly seen. Bayyān Brotherhood is not about competition or performance; it is about anchoring into truth, cultivating wisdom, and walking together in presence.

Who is this for?
- Men who seek to be guided towards self expression (...because they don't know where to start or how)
- Men wanting to be a part of a collective healing circle with other like-minded men
- Men open to holding space for themselves and other brothers (and understand what this really means!)
- Men who are wanting to feel lighter, connected and seen
- Men who want to explore what it means to be a healthy masculine and gentle
- Men who are open to adopting key psychological concepts when it comes to becoming a healthier version on themselves.

The Bayaan Brotherhood is not limited to muslim men. It is encouraged that all men from different backgrounds attend. :)

Your Hosts

The Bayyān Brotherhood is a space for our circle of men - to explore, express and gain clarity on what it means to be a man - for himself, his community and in allyship with women. Our first session will be led by Omar.

With over 10 years of experience in the world of ‘mens work’, Omar is on a quest to build healthy spaces for Muslim & BIPOC men to help them with their fitra, build healthy support systems with other men and establish a healthier and more balanced view of self worth. Omar is also a former co-founder of a successful tech academy, is a qualified coach and currently completing a degree in transpersonal (spiritual) psychotherapy. He is currently working towards establishing himself as an Islamic Psychotherapist, as he delves into the world of Sufism and Islam.

The Sukoon Circle is passionate to work with Omar within the Bayyān Brotherhood to establish key values and principles which help to build healthy attitudes within men who attend the circle.

Come as you are, ready to be held, seen and appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you there!

General FAQs

Can I opt out of being photographed at the event? Typically our sukoon sessions are photographed as normal. For this session, no pictures will be taken by Sukoon.

Can I get a refund? Yes, we understand your plans may change therefore we can offer a full refund if your request is put in 72 hours before the event time and date.

I'm not muslim, can I still attend?
YesThe word 'Sukoon' comes from the Urdu language, a language close to Fatema's (the founder) heart and heritage and translates as 'Harmony'. The event is not geared towards muslims and is not an islamically led space. It is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, cosmopolitan space looking to bridge the gap between men and women. We do however focus on bringing in both western and eastern practices into our workshop content.

I've never attended anything self development or psychological before, is this event for me? Yes, as long as you are willing to be present and engaging with the other workshop attendees, you will fit right in.
