ABP Langport have joined forces again with local business and volunteers after a successful festival in 2025. We are helping to raise funds for the local community. The festival welcomes everyone in and around the community and all proceeds this year will go to HEPS Playground Project. https://huishepiscopiprimary.co.uk/

We have bands, food vendors, drinks confirmed and lots of fun activities planned for the day. See you there!

FAQ

What can I expect?

Predicted number of attendees - 500 +

What the event is raising money for - Huish Episcopi Primary School Playground Project

What time does the music start and stop? – 12.00-20.00

What is there for children? – Inflatables, Games, Crafts, Free Squash, Music, Ice cream, popcorn, Candy Floss and more.

What time does the event open and close - 12:00 – 20.00

Is there a last entry time - No but we reserve the right to refuse entry if the field is full.

Can I leave the event and return? - Yes, if you have a wrist band. No wrist band no entry.

Tickets

Details of the token system - Tokens can be purchased to play games these can be purchased and will be at the entrance for games inside the event. Tokens can not be used at Food Vendors

How/When will I receive my ticket - For tickets purchased online you will receive an email confirmation, bring proof of purchase with you to collect your wrist band.

Can I buy a ticket on the gate? - Yes, prices may differ.

Are there any situations where we would refund a ticket? - No

What happens if someone loses or forgets their wristband before the event? - You will need to purchase another ticket.

Parking

Details of parking. - There will be parking at ABP Langport – TA109HG. Parking also at St Marys Church car park and Huish Episcopi Academy. If you are local, please walk to the event if you can. (No parking in Tanyard Lane)

Is there somewhere safe to store bicycles? - There is bike storage at TA10 9HG and at Lifestyle Gym, we take no responsibility for this.

Can I leave my vehicle in the car park overnight (if drinking)? - No

Is parking free? - Yes

Food & Drink

Can I bring my own food/drink? No, we have plenty of food options available. If you have specific dietary requirement, please get in touch. Free squash and tap water will be available for children.

Can I bring my own alcohol? - No, bags will be checked by security

Can I BBQ? - No

I am Vegetarian/have dietary needs – will I have any eating options? - There will be vegetarian and gluten free options.

Health, Safety and Wellbeing

Will strobe lighting be in use during the music performances? - Yes, on the stage only

I have a disability. How accessible is the site? - The field is flat short grass.

Are there disabled parking arrangements? - Limited car park spaces at TA10 9HG

Will there a disabled toilet? - Yes

Will there be a baby change facility? - No but toilet facilities are available.

What do I do if I do not feel well? - First aiders will be around the event. Please tell someone if you do not feel well.

All attendees must remain within the boundaries of the event and children must always be supervised. Please respect and adhere to the guidance of the site stewards.

Facilities

Is there any seating or can I bring camping chairs/picnic blankets/pop up tents? - Chairs & blankets yes, tents no

Are toilets provided? - Yes

How can I get help to find lost property? - All lost property to be given to Stewards or Security, and can be claimed at the entrance

Do I pay by cash or by card? Is there a cash machine on site? - Cash and Card accepted it is advisable to bring cash as the signal is not great in that area / There is no cash machine on site, the nearest cash machine will be at Tesco Langport

Is there an area where I can smoke/vape? - Smoking and vaping are ok in the field but please be aware of your surroundings, especially around children’s games areas.

Can I take my own photos or videos of the event? - Yes

Environmental Impact

Are we promoting vendors to provide Paper cups, straws, recyclable serve ware? - No glass or plastic used

How are we planning to keep the site tidy during and after the event? - Volunteers helping around the event and our Sponsor McCarthy Marland is providing rubbish bins.

Security

Security has the right to conduct random bag searches. Security also has the right to remove or deny entry to any attendee suspected of demonstrating anti-social behaviour. Your ticket will not be refunded if you must be removed from site. The use or sale of illegal substances is prohibited. The Rose and Crown (Eli’s) operate a Challenge 25 policy.

Other

Can I bring my dog? – Dog will not be allowed in the festival field. There will be lots of noise & people, so this is for their own safety.

Do I need to bring photo ID with me? - Yes, challenge 25 policy

Will we cancel the event if it is due to rain? - No

Waiver

By entering ABP premises you agree to follow the Terms and Conditions set out by ABP Langport. T & Cs can be found below and at entrance to the festival.

During the festival, access to ABP is restricted to car park and field only, anyone found out of bounds without prior permission will be asked to leave. For festival and your own safety, security will be in place at entrances and on festival premises and reserve the right to random bag searches. Vehicles and contents are left at owner’s risk.

No pets are permitted on ABP premises except for assistance dogs.

To ensure everyone’s safety, security reserves the right to conduct searches and ask to search your bag prior to entry into the festival and to confiscate any item which, in the reasonable opinion of the security agent acting on behalf of ABP, may contravene the festival terms or cause danger or disruption.

We endeavour to make every aspect of the festival as safe as possible however ABP accepts no responsibility for any loss/theft and/or damage suffered by you because of any event outside our control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Terms & Conditions

  • Tickets purchased prior to the event will be checked upon arrival and each ticket holder will be issued a wrist band. This will also allow re-entry if ticket holder should leave premises on the day.
  • Tickets will be available on the gate each ticket holder will be issued a wrist band. This will also allow re-entry if ticket holder should leave premises on the day.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Any tokens sold at the entrance are non-refundable.
  • The car park will open at 11:30am and gates to the festival open at 12:00pm. Walking access is via Tanyard lane.
  • Persons parking anywhere on ABP property do so at their own risk. No liability is accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle or contents.
  • Please leave all pets at home, they will not be permitted entrance to the festival except for assistance dogs.
  • Security reserve the right to search bags and remove any persons whose presence, behaviour or visible representation could be judged to be, threatening, abusive, insulting or compromising safety of all persons on the premises.
  • The festival is to take place on a grass field, in wet conditions this may become slippery all persons are recommended to proceed with caution.
  • It remains the responsibility of accompanying adults (a person aged eighteen or over) to supervise the children in their care while visiting the festival. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and remain the responsibility of said adult at all times. If your child happens to get lost, please contact a member of the team in a red t-shirt who can direct you to lost children tent.
  • First Aid tent is available on festival premises and clearly sign posted. For health advice in non-emergency situations, please dial 111.
  • All activities provided by the festival are enjoyed at your own risk.
  • Allergens, intolerances, and ingredients: will be provided by each food vendor for their items sold.
  • Any alcohol purchased outside of festival premises is prohibited, security reserve the right to random bag searches.
  • No illegal drugs are permitted on premises. For prescription medicines ensure the medicine is in its original container, with the dispensary sticker and issued in the name of the ticketholder i.e. do not peel the label off or carry someone else’s medication.
  • Smoking except for e-cigarettes/vapes is only permitted in the designated smoking area.
  • The festival may be professionally filmed or recorded, therefore in attending the festival you consent to be filmed and/or photographed and may be featured as a member of the crowd in any resulting footage or photographs.
