Summer Suhbah 2025

Iqra Learning Centre brings you Summer Suhbah 2025, ILC’s annual weekend-long retreat into Scottish nature for the Muslim youth in our community! As well as a weekend packed with activities, campfires and making new friends, we will be delivering workshops, talks and reminders by speakers from all over the UK.

Summer Suhbah 2025 will be your opportunity to meet young Muslims from all over Scotland and form a strong brotherhood/sisterhood which will last a lifetime InshaAllah. After a long day of workshops and outdoor activities, you’ll have a chance to wind down and have an evening meal with other attendees, play some games, and take part in evening Halaqah’s and Qiyams if you wish!

This retreat is about giving not only your mind, but also your soul, a break from our busy lives and reconnecting with Allah in Dounans Centre. The main objective of this retreat is to help the youth in our community get closer to Allah SWT and to come away from this weekend with renewed imaan, more confidence in their identity as Muslims and with a wealth of tools and knowledge to apply in their day-to-day lives.
