ACMA-winning Alberta folk & country group, The Travelling Mabels, will be bringing their new Christmas album and distinctive harmony, humour, and musicianship to the Sundre Arts Centre on Saturday, December 2!
The holiday season is approaching, and the Travelling Mabels can hardly contain their excitement as they prepare to enchant audiences with their special show, “Christmas with The Travelling Mabels”. As an extra treat, they are set to release their very first Christmas CD, filled with musical gems that capture the festive spirit.
Their upcoming album features two original songs, “Grandma's Kitchen” and “Follow That Star”, alongside their heartfelt interpretations of timeless Christmas classics. You can expect to hear their renditions of “Operator” (originally by Manhattan Transfer), “Light Of The Stable” (inspired by Emmylou Harris), “Let It Snow”, and a delightful tribute to Vince Guaraldi with their “A Charlie Brown Christmas” medley, which includes “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”, “O Tannenbaum”, “Skating”, and the beloved “Linus and Lucy”.
The live shows promise to be an enchanting evening filled with the signature Mabels harmony, extraordinary musicianship, and a sprinkle of Dad jokes that will leave you with a heartwarming sense of joy.
Eva Levesque, Lana Floen, Therry Lawson, and Keith Floen are The Travelling Mabels. An ACMA award winning folk/country group from southern Alberta, who for more than a decade, have brought their own unique brand of harmony, musicianship and down home humour to Canadian audiences from coast to coast.

The Sundre Music Series was established to bring arts and culture to the Sundre Community through live music, as each concert acts as a very small fundraiser for the facility.
