This introductory session is brought to you by the Southern Universities Network, following some collaborative work with Parentkind. This online workshop will set you up with the basics your school, college or educational setting needs to build successful parent partnerships, in line with Parentkind’s principles in the Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools.
What will the session cover?
This online interactive session will help you to:
- Be given practical tools, techniques and actions that your school, college or educational setting can embed to cultivate and environment that nurtures parental participation.
- The opportunity to collaborate, discuss and learn with other educational professionals.
- Continue professional development by attending this two hour CPD certified course
Who is it for?
This event is suitable for teachers, teaching assistants, senior leadership, pastoral staff, local authority staff within education departments, other staff with responsibility for parental involvement, governors, recruitment and outreach staff, Uni Connect staff, third party organisations working with parents.
