Back in 2019, our expert speaker Ashley Grute delivered a very popular session on this then brand-new qualification before its launch in September 2020. 5 years on, he is returning to share his expertise on T Levels.

Ashley is an Assistant Principal at Havant and South Downs College, who were one of the early adopter providers for T Levels, having started delivery in 2020. As the college lead on T Level implementation, Ashley has overseen the implementation of 10 different T Levels and 15 Occupational Specialisms. He has worked in Further Education for 22 years and is currently involved in a number of T Level and TLFP steering groups for the AoC, DfE and Ofqual.

This session will provide an overview of how a Further Education College has found delivering the T Levels and the lessons they have learnt along the way. Ashley will share all the positives as well as the challenges and we will also get the chance to hear about the progress and destinations that HSDC students have achieved from studying these new qualifications.
