Designed specifically for Early Career Teachers and Trainee Teachers, this session introduces the concept of underrepresentation in education and higher education. You will explore the barriers some learners face and consider the important role teachers play in creating inclusive learning environments. Through discussion and practical examples, you will develop an understanding of how everyday practice can support student progression and success.

• The Southern Universities Network (SUN) CPD Programme offers a range of free professional development opportunities for colleagues working across education and student support.
• This year's programme brings together expert speakers and experienced practitioners to explore some of the key issues affecting learners today, from supporting specific student groups and improving wellbeing, to helping young people navigate their next steps in education and employment.
