Apprenticeships are an increasingly popular progression route for young people. This session provides a comprehensive overview of the apprenticeship landscape, including the different qualification levels, application processes, employer expectations and progression opportunities. You will also hear directly from a local employer about their experiences of recruiting apprentices, supporting progression within their organisation and the opportunities available to young people through apprenticeship pathways.

• The Southern Universities Network (SUN) CPD Programme offers a range of free professional development opportunities for colleagues working across education and student support.
• This year's programme brings together expert speakers and experienced practitioners to explore some of the key issues affecting learners today, from supporting specific student groups and improving wellbeing, to helping young people navigate their next steps in education and employment.
