North Leeds Community Singers 10th Birthday Fundraiser
NLCS 10 Year Anniversary Concert
Join us for an evening of community celebration, in support of a vital local charity, at Holy Trinity Community Hall in Meanwood.
North Leeds Community Singers (NLCS) turns an incredible 10 years old on Saturday 10 October. The community group, created by local music teacher Kate Mayger, began with just 4 singers and now boasts over 30 regular members. To mark the occasion, they are hosting an evening of music and performance.
The 10 year anniversary concert provides the perfect opportunity to raise funds for Sunshine & Smiles - Leeds Down syndrome Network. The charity offers support for families in Leeds who have a child or young person with Down syndrome.
To add an extra community element, NLCS have invited other community music groups to perform; local ukulele group Juke, dynamic trio Broken Pot and spoken word organisation Brave Words will also be making an appearance!
In addition to the live entertainment, you will be able to take part in a raffle, purchase a range of drinks and refreshments throughout the evening, supplied and served by Meanwood based business Grounded & Co. The evening will be a welcoming, family friendly event in aid of two fantastic community organisations.
We very much hope to see you there!
