It's happening again!!

Support Local Supper Club is back for round two, and this time we're heading somewhere a little different for a dreamy summer afternoon.

Sunday 23 August, we're taking over Crossbar in partnership with the brilliant She Shucks for an afternoon of oysters, English sparkling wine, and – if you're feeling brave – your very own oyster shucking lesson. Think: golden hour, good company, and making some new shuck buddies along the way.

There are two ticket types available, depending on how hungry you are:

• 3 oysters for £21pp
• 6 oysters for £30pp

Both come with a glass of English sparkling wine and a hands-on oyster shucking lesson. Any additional drinks can be bought straight from the bar at Crossbar.

As always, tickets cover the cost of your food and drink, and every penny goes straight to She Shucks and Crossbar. We're just here to help two brilliant local businesses have a great Sunday afternoon (and make some new friends while we're at it). There are only 40 spots available, so get in quick!

She Shucks is a pop-up oyster business - queer, female owned and based in Brighton, serving the very best Whitstable Rock Oysters.

CROSSBAR Brighton is a women's sports bar offering coffee, cocktails, and live women's sports. A welcoming venue for socialising, events and general fun.

Who can attend a Support Local Supper Club?

Anyone, the more the merrier!

Do I have to shuck my own oyster?

Not at all – the shucking lesson is optional and just for fun. If you'd rather leave it to the experts, that's completely fine too.

Is there anything I need to sign?

Yes – She Shucks will provide a short liability waiver for anyone taking part in the shucking lesson. We'll share this ahead of the event.

Can you make accommodations for dietary restrictions?

As this event is built around oysters, it may not be suitable for anyone with a shellfish allergy – please get in touch if you have concerns. For all other dietary requirements, let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we'll pass those along.

What if we're still having fun at 6:00PM?

We can head downstairs at Crossbar!
