Got something to say but not sure where to start? Want to level up your rhyming? Or just curious about spoken word and what it’s all about? This session is for you. 

Join Matt Windle – former Poet Laureate and Commonwealth Boxing Champion 22/23 – for an honest, interactive workshop evening where creativity meets real life. No pressure, no judgement – just a space to make mistakes, experiment, and be heard. 

Throughout the evening, there’ll be snacks, drinks, and plenty of good vibes. Come and hang out, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in the incredible surroundings of Biddulph Old Hall and the Festival of Brilliant.
