Overview
The Light of Freedom — A Night for Ukraine is a fundraising evening hosted at the historic Hurlingham Club in London by the UK–Ukraine Resilience Initiative.
The evening will bring together guests from diplomacy, defence, finance, sport, the arts and Ukrainian civil society in support of practical humanitarian initiatives for Ukraine.
Guests will be welcomed by an international art exhibition curated by Golden Time Talent, presenting works by artists supporting humanitarian aid for Ukraine. The evening’s programme combines art, music, sport and international speakers, culminating in a charity auction in support of civilian resilience initiatives.
Creative direction of the exhibition is led by Inesa Bila, Founder of Golden Time Talent.
Join our tennis masterclass program with Lesia Tsurenko: 15 April at 2:15 and 3:45 at the Hurlingham Club.Â
On the 16 April Lesia Tsurenko will lead the session for the children and the teenagers. Cost is donation-based. Â

The live charity auction will feature a curated selection of distinctive works and experiences:

• Private 1-1 tennis lesson and masterclass with Lesia Tsurenko
• Artwork kindly donated by Ukrainian artist Iryna Yermolova
• Artwork ‘Summer returns and so did we’ by Max Denison-Pender
• One week in a luxury ski chalet in Klosters
• A week in a luxury apartment overlooking Cowes Harbour, IOW
• A flight in a historic Second World War Dakota aircraft

• Address by Lesia Tsurenko (4 times WTA winner, and former World Singles No. 23)

• Rising opera singer Daria Moskaliuk, originally from Odesa
• Sofia Bila, a 13-year-old singer and musician from Ukraine
• German mezzo-soprano Friederike Krum, Maria Callas Award winner and patron of British-Ukrainian Aid
Use of Proceeds
The UK–Ukraine Resilience Initiative works in partnership with established charities, including British-Ukrainian Aid and The Worshipful Company of Carmen General Charity. Net proceeds from the evening will be directed to clearly defined humanitarian purposes in Ukraine, including:
• Acquisition of EcoFlow DELTA Pro portable power systems to support civilian resilience during energy disruption
• Provision of specially adapted wheelchairs supporting sports rehabilitation programmes for Ukrainian veterans
The Initiative supports practical projects that strengthen civilian resilience in Ukraine.
