Our next supper club is round the corner 💛

We’re so excited to bring back our ‘Paired’ series for a second year at @jumbipeckham in partnership with  Counterpoints for Refugee Week UK.

Pairing artists with chefs of similar heritage, for an evening spotlighting the stories of displaced communities through food, music & acts of solidarity. Now more than ever, spaces of gathering are essential to keeping our communities strong and undivided in the UK.

After a sell out pilot last year, for this second edition, we are incredibly excited to invite artist and South East London native, Jianbo as he joins heads with Chef Andrew Ha of legendary Vietnamese pop up Angie's Caphe, to curate a one off bespoke menu, celebrating their shared East Asian heritage at much loved South London venue, Jumbi.

Join us for a warm evening championing the power of food and music in bringing communities together, as Jianbo and Andrew explore this year's Refugee Week theme 'Courage ' through their own personal histories, whilst raising awareness for the displaced experience and fundraising for the South East and East Asian Centre.

The best of Chinese and Vietnamese flavours, reimagined,  as well as a live PA from Jianbo, in a warm setting inspiring communal action and solidarity with displaced communities.

About SUP?

Borne from a desire to dispel myths around immigration, SUP? is a non profit organisation empowering displaced people through sharing food, music and solidarity. We've brought 5 sold out supper clubs to London, with entirely refugee-led teams, working to create consciousness-raising conversations that highlight the experience of people who are forced to migrate countries, whilst celebrating their cultures, through their own lens.

About Andrew Ha

Born in Ottawa, Canada to Chinese-Vietnamese refugee parents, Andrew Ha is a chef whose cooking is shaped by migration, memory, and the experience of growing up between cultures. Having spent the better half of a decade working across kitchens in Toronto and London — including Pinky’s Ca Phe, St. John Bread & Wine, and currently Dalla — Andrew has developed a style of cooking informed as much by restaurant culture as it is by family gatherings, late-night meals, and the immigrant communities he grew up around. Drawing from his Chinese-Vietnamese heritage alongside the cities and kitchens that raised him, his work moves between tradition and instinct — where communal dining, bold flavours, and storytelling sit at the centre of the table. Through his supper club Angies Ca Phe, Andrew has built a growing following for events that blur the lines between dinner party, cultural exchange, and underground gatherings. His cooking often explores nostalgia and the relationship between food and belonging; all while creating spaces that feel intimate, loud, and deeply communal.

About Jianbo
Born and raised in South East London, Chinese-Vietnamese-British artist Jianbo is a standout voice emerging from the UK’s rap scene. Rooted in his Chinese-Vietnamese heritage and shaped by the cultural mosaic of London, Jianbo’s music explores identity, community, and the people who made him, reclaiming his heritage through a sonic soundscape. Rooted in his Chinese-Vietnamese heritage and shaped by the cultural mosaic of London, Jianbo’s music explores identity, community, and the people who made him. His earliest exposure to music came through his older cousins, who immersed him in the worlds of garage, jungle, and grime. Through them, he heard his first pirate radio sets, and by the time he was in school, he was already imitating Wiley, D Double E, and Kano – before carving out a style entirely his own, where UK sound system culture meets Hong Kong cinema and underground rap collides with cinematic grandeur. He doesn’t just reference his heritage; he reclaims it, making it part of his artistic identity in a way that’s fresh, defiant, and deeply personal.
