Llantwit Major - SAS Mass Lobby - Clean Water Open Day
Join us on Saturday 24 October
Clean Water, Community Power
Join us for a community day exploring clean water, public health and the future of our rivers and seas. Hear from local water users, explore citizen science and water testing, find out what’s happening locally, and learn more about the Clean Water Bill and its proposals to protect people and the environment.
Tickets: We have 50 tickets allocated for the event. By completing this form you'll be joining our network of Ocean Activists and be kept updated on ways to get involved with us, including campaigning, volunteering and donating. Your data will not be shared. You can opt out at any time and we'll keep your data safe - read SAS' privacy policy
Who is it for?
Anyone who cares about their local waters. You don’t need to be an experienced campaigner or environmentalist. Whether you’re a swimmer, surfer, paddler, sailor, angler, beach user, parent, local resident, community group or simply want to understand more about what’s happening to our water — you’re welcome.
What will I take away?
You’ll leave with a better understanding of your local water environment, the health and environmental impacts of sewage pollution, how water quality is monitored, the Clean Water Bill proposals, what’s happening locally and ways to stay involved in your community.
Clean water is a shared issue — everyone who uses, loves or cares for our waterways has a perspective worth hearing. 🌊
