Teignmouth - Mass Lobby - Gathering as voice for the sea
📍 Location: Teignmouth Corinthian Yacht Club, Eastcliff Walk, Teignmouth. TQ14 8TA
📅 Date: Sunday morning 10am.
Join us in Teignmouth for a local gathering as part of Surfers Against Sewage’s national #CleanTheBill campaign, calling for a water system that protects people, rivers and seas.
Our town crier will read the Clean the Bill campaign asks from a scroll, followed by a response and short speech from Martin Wrigley MP, who will be invited to symbolically sign the scroll in support. We’ll also hear from Stuart Reynolds of Friends of the River Teign, sharing the results of recent water quality testing in the Teign estuary.
Please check the event details for confirmation. Come along to hear the latest local water quality findings and learn more about the call for meaningful change through the Clean Water Bill.
Tickets: We have 100 tickets allocated for the event. Please register your place as we need to ensure a high level of safety for all our supporters.
