Exeter - SAS Mass Lobby - Talk and display

Join us Exeter Library as we bring local experiences of sewage pollution to the heart of the conversation about the future of our water system.

From 23 October, a special  display will feature Surfers Against Sewage posters, space for messages for our MP and reflections on why clean water matters through some beautiful book choices.

Our MP,  Steve Race, has been invited to visit the library and we have a local expert on sewage pollution and the Clean Water Bill from Sideshore in Exmouth giving a talk at 1pm. We’ll also share Surfers Against Sewage’s key asks, with time for questions and discussion. Come along, share your experience and help make local voices heard.

Join us on the 23rd October at Exeter Library, at 1pm for the talk, and for a great display of Environmental texts throughout the day (opening hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm). Don't forget: it's Green Libraries week too!

Together, we can #CleanTheBill. 🌊

Tickets: We have 50 tickets allocated for the talk. Please register your place By completing this form you'll be joining our network of Ocean Activists and be kept updated on ways to get involved with us, including campaigning, volunteering and donating. The event is part of the wider Clean the Bill campaign and provides an opportunity to bring local evidence and community experience into conversations about the future of the water system. The Clean Water Bill includes proposals to protect public health and the environment and to give greater protection to recreational water users.
