Memphis Lee & The Creepers….. 6-Piece Line Up!

Surrey Jive are proud to welcome Memphis Lee & The Creepers to Ruby’s. With Lee stepping back from performing at the end of 2025 to spend more time with his family, sadly this will be the last time you will see him at Ruby’s.

The guys come all the way from Wales to entertain you and you will not find a more talented group of musicians. The band includes the outstanding Pat Reyford on sax who is a star in his own right. They have an established presence on the jive scene and regularly play all over the UK. Their reviews describe them as: “One of the best bands on the scene, absolutely brilliant.” “Fantastic night, you had the dance floor packed all night… great stuff.” “Brilliant band, will light up any event” to name but a few.

In between sets Shakin Shep (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ) will be playing from his huge collection of ‘Red Hot and Blue’ floor fillers that include RnB, Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive.

Our dances are well attended, and you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere to greet you. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and large free car park. The hall is situated close to the M25.
